Military & Veteran Focus

Who would TrueBlue be best for?

TrueBlue would be good for transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses looking for a more physical type of job.

Does TrueBlue offer specialized service(s) to veterans, transitioning military or military spouses?

No.  While True Blue hires 200,000 people per year and is a founding member of Hiring Our Heroes, they don’t focus on military and veteran hiring exclusively.  In the past, several of their companies were focused on hiring veterans and helping them transition from a military to a civilian career however that no longer appears to be the case.

PeopleScout, one of the TrueBlue companies earned the Military Friendly Employer designation. PeopleScout has also created the Veteran Talent Exchange, connecting veterans to employers that are committed to hiring them.

Does TrueBlue offer discounts to military or veterans?

Their services appear to be free of charge for everyone.

Is TrueBlue veteran-owned?

It does not appear that TrueBlue is veteran-owned.

TrueBlue Testimonials

“The jobs are mostly physical and energy consuming. Its doesn’t really pay well but is there for when money is needed. I now only go there from time to time..” – Indeed review

“TB has kept me busy working as much as I have wanted. In the 2 years I’ve worked for them, I have worked on 3 jobsites. So as long as you have a good work ethic TB customers will keep you around. But keep in mind this is a staffing agency, so you are temporary labor for the contractors you work for. Only downside to working for TB is no paid vacations. You do get paid sick time.”-Indeed review
