NextOp Veterans is a non-profit organization that exists to assist transitioning service members find meaningful careers after the military.
NextOp was founded in 2014 and operates solely on the donations from corporate sponsors, individuals, and other charitable foundations.

The target-audience for NextOps services is the middle-enlisted service member. They also focus almost exclusively on those in transition.

What kind of jobs does NextOp Veterans place people in?
NextOp Veterans has placed over 2,600 veterans in various job fields around the country since 2015. They do not have a job board immediately accessible, so determining the fields in which they staff is challenging.
However, the company does promote an initiative called Step Into Energy, which seeks to help veterans transition into careers in the energy industry.
On the application page, NextOp states that they “are focused on the energy, manufacturing, and industrial construction fields” and provide staffing for skilled and semi-skilled workers.

Does NextOp Veterans offer specialized service(s) to veterans?
Yes. Many of the services available to transitioning service members are also available to veterans. As long as you don’t have a Dishonorable Discharge, then they will work with the veteran community
Does NextOp Veterans offer discounts to military or veterans?
No. The services provided by NextOp are cost-free to military and veterans, so a discount does not exist.

Is NextOp Veterans veteran-owned?
No. However, most of the NextOp Team Members, Board of Directors, and the Advisory Board are themselves military veterans.
What makes them unique?
The most unique thing about NextOp is their target veteran: the middle enlisted service member between the ranks of E3 to E7. Most organizations either target every veteran, the officer corps, or lower enlisted. This is the first I’ve seen that has a niche within the enlisted ranks. Very cool!
Where is NextOp Veterans located?
The organization appears to be headquartered in Houston, Texas.
Do they have offices around the country?
No. It does not appear that NextOp maintains offices outside of Houston.
NextOp Veterans Review and Testimonials
The NextOp Veterans landing page is very inviting, and it is evident that the first step they want you to take is Create a Profile. When you do create a profile, more information becomes available about the processes and resources they use to land middle-enlisted veterans into jobs.
The organization’s Events tab does not have anything on it. There is just a message stating that the previous event is over. Listing upcoming events would be engaging, or just take the tab away until there’s something to list.
Additionally, the NextOp News section only has two dateless items talking about grants they received. This is the most ideal place to hang success stories from any of the previous 2,600 applicants they’ve placed.
