Brothers and sisters in arms, Mike Sarrialle from CareerRecon.

Guys, in the military you had a job and purpose, and in the future, each of you are going to be successful because you’re going to have a positive attitude, you’re going to take ownership over your transition. You’re going to demonstrate the values you learn in the military, and then also implement them into your lives. So you’re going to have future professions and purpose outside of the military.

But what’s in between finding a job? When you’re finding a job, guess what your job is, to find a job! So that requires commitment and discipline. In an earlier segment, I talked about getting up early, getting your physical training in, and maintaining your professional appearance. But then when you’re done with physical training at 6:30 am or 7:00 am or 8:00 am, you’re in front of that computer!

…you are going to be successful because you’re going to have a positive attitude, you’re going to take ownership over your transition.

You’re updating your resume, you’re looking at opportunities that are out there. You’re picking up the phone and calling those companies once you’ve submitted your resume, just to let them know that you’re extremely interested. You are fully dedicated and focused on getting a job. So in between guys remember when you don’t have a job. Your job is securing a job.

Alright, guys, thanks for your time Mike Sarrialle out.
